Returns, Refunds & Warranty


Change-of-mind returns (30 days)

You may return an unwanted item within 30 days of delivery, provided it is unopened, unused and in its original, undamaged packaging with all accessories and materials included. You arrange and pay for return shipping. Once we've received and inspected the item, we'll refund the purchase price; the original delivery charge is not refunded.

Digital products & software keys

Software licences, game keys, activation codes and other digital products are delivered electronically. Because the product is fully supplied the moment the code is revealed or the download is made available, digital products are non-returnable and non-refundable once the code has been revealed, redeemed, or the download accessed. By completing your purchase you agree to immediate electronic delivery and understand that this ends the 30-day change-of-mind period for that item.

This does not apply where a digital product is faulty or not as described — for example a key that is invalid, already redeemed, region-locked without disclosure, or does not activate. In that case, contact hello@digitalloot.co.za with your order number and details and we'll verify and replace or refund it.

Opened, non-defective items

Opened items that are not faulty may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are complete, undamaged and in their original packaging with all accessories and materials, and in a resalable condition. A restocking fee of up to 25% applies to cover the loss in value of an opened item, and you arrange and pay for return shipping. We'll refund the balance to your original payment method once we've received and inspected the item. Items returned incomplete, damaged, or outside this window are not accepted.

Faulty items & warranty claims

Products carry the manufacturer's warranty stated on the product page. Warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults under normal use. It does not cover damage from misuse, accidental or liquid damage, power surges, incorrect installation, unauthorised repair or modification, or wear of consumable parts.

If a product is faulty or develops a fault within its warranty period:

  1. Email hello@digitalloot.co.za with your order number and a description of the fault (a photo or video helps). We'll issue a return/RMA reference and confirm where to send the item.
  2. Deliver or courier the item to us — packed safely, with accessories and packaging where possible. We recommend insuring valuable items in transit.
  3. We assess the item and manage the claim with the supplier or manufacturer.
  4. Where the fault is confirmed we'll repair, replace or refund the item as appropriate and arrange the return of confirmed-faulty items.

Typical turnaround is 5–14 business days, depending on the manufacturer and stock availability. Proof of purchase is required for all fault and warranty claims.

Cancellations

If you cancel an order before it has shipped, you'll receive a full refund including any delivery charge.

Refunds

Approved refunds are paid to your original payment method (or by EFT) once the item is received and inspected, normally within 5–10 business days. Proof of purchase is required for all returns and refunds. We'll let you know if a return is approved or declined.
